is a table that maintains exceptional playability for years of enjoyment.
Cabinet
Like the finest furniture, the base-frame is constructed of solid, kiln-dried hardwoods and select, laminated wood veneers. Slate to floor leg construction is the strongest in the industry. The cross bracing is the backbone of the table and made from solid timber bolted at 10 points for maximum cabinet stability.
Rails
Hand-selected veneers, burls and laminated hardwoods are used for the rail assembly. Both the rail cap and sub-rail use solid maple in a block laminating process that gives the rails unsurpassed straightness and strength for years of accurate play.
Rail surfaces are multi-step finished, using a hand rubbed technique to bring out the beauty of the natural wood grain. A durable and scratch resistant UV top coat is then applied for a lasting finish.
Rails are fastened to the table with our Iron Jaw™ floating nut plate. This gives the rail-to-table joinery approximately 70% more downward holding strength than standard t-nuts used by other manufacturer.
Sights
The standard sights on all Thomas Aaron Classic Series Billiard tables are genuine mother of pearl with abalone inset diamonds.
Slate
Full one-inch certified professional grade slate is used on all tables.
Cushions
We use only premium grade rubber with a vulcanized canvas backing and UV protection, in a K66 profile: The number one profile used in professional tournaments.
Pockets
All pockets are made of the finest saddle grade leather. Bucket pockets have extra-thick leather around the collar to prevent warping or curling on the top rail surface. The bottom of the pockets are stitched rather than stapled for added strength.
Finishes
The finest furniture grade finish is achieved through a multi-step process that is hand applied for lasting beauty.
